Welcome to Mataderos! Welcome to
experiencing Argentine asado like no one else
will present it to you.
Before the asado, we'll take a brief tour, walk
through the neighborhood, talk about the
architecture of its houses, its history, and we
can visit an old sportswear store with historical
jewels from the ADIDAS brand.

During our tour, we visit FRIGORIFICOS DE
MATADEROS, the NUEVA CHICAGO soccer
field, the CEDRON pizzeria, EL RESERO, and
many more gems!
Before the trip,
let's go shopping!
BAKERY
We stop at a typical neighborhood bakery. We see the different types of bread that exist, the history and origin of the name 'facturas' and we taste the 'masas finas'; and 'masas secas' for the afternoon with mate.
BUTCHER SHOP
There's no asado without meat, and a good grill master chooses what they're going to eat in person! Together, we'll visit a typical Argentine butcher shop, buy everything to your liking, and see the different cuts of meat before we start the asado.
We'll make the asado with ROLO, you'll learn
how to start the fire, the technique involved.
We'll tell you about the different ways to light
the fire and the best ways to season and grill
the meat.
